According to reports, the website uses SynthID to identify whether media content is AI-generated. For context, Google introduced SynthID in 2023, an invisible watermark embedded in its Nano Banana, Veo, and Lyria models. Additionally, OpenAI, NVIDIA, and Kakao also support this tool.
Google has already integrated SynthID verification into the Gemini app and Google Chrome. The company states that users currently initiate approximately one million content verification requests per day. However, it is important to note that the tool’s detection results are not 100% accurate.
