On October 20, SpacemiT announced the release of its server-grade CPU based on the RISC-V instruction set architecture (ISA) — the Vital Stone V100. The company claims it is "the first compute chip fully compliant with RISC-V server specifications."

The V100 features a heterogeneous 6P + 40E design, comprising six Xiangshan Kunming Lake V2R2 performance cores and forty SpacemiT X100 efficiency cores. The V2R2 cores operate at a maximum frequency of 2.1 GHz, achieving a single-core SPECint2006 score of ≥ 15.0/GHz. The X100 cores run at up to 2.4 GHz, delivering a single-core SPECint2006 score of ≥ 9.0/GHz.
Additionally, the chip supports 8-channel 1DPC DDR5-4800 memory, provides 52 PCIe Gen5 lanes, and enables dual-socket coherent interconnects.

The SpacemiT V100 chip is fully compatible with the RVA23 Profile. It supports server-grade virtualization, data-center-level security architectures, and server RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability) features, adhering to relevant RISC-V server standards and specifications.
