NVIDIA Launches DSX POD Pre-fabricated AI Factory for Rapid Deployment
NVIDIA introduced the DSX POD, a modular AI infrastructure solution that pre-integrates compute, networking, and cooling into shipping containers. This approach aims to reduce data center deployment time from approximately six months to as little as 14 days, with global delivery scheduled for early 2027.

NVIDIA stated that this approach shifts tasks such as computing, networking, cabling, rack power delivery, liquid cooling installation, and functional validation to the factory for pre-completion. The company plans to begin global deliveries through partners in early 2027.

The core concept behind the DSX POD is to pre-integrate AI infrastructure into "modular containers," completing system integration and validation before shipment. Upon arrival at the deployment site, customers only need to connect the units to ready-made power, cooling, and network facilities to proceed with subsequent deployment.
NVIDIA claims this method reduces the complex on-site construction, professional coordination, and logistics involved in traditional data center builds, while mitigating the impact of on-site installation errors and component delivery delays.
According to NVIDIA, when the deployment site and supporting infrastructure are ready, the DSX POD can shorten the infrastructure deployment cycle from approximately six months using traditional methods to as little as 14 days.
Jensen Huang emphasized that an AI factory creates value only when it starts generating tokens, not merely upon completion of construction. NVIDIA states that the DSX POD aims to reduce the time between site readiness and the commencement of production-grade AI workloads, enabling operators to offer inference services and generate revenue earlier.
Regarding partnerships, NVIDIA is collaborating with Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Lenovo, Gigabyte, Foxconn Industrial Internet (under Hon Hai Precision Industry), Pegatron, Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT, under Quanta Computer), Wistron, Schneider Electric, Vertiv, and other companies to drive the manufacturing, integration, and delivery of DSX PODs. NVIDIA indicated that global partners plan to begin delivering these AI factory systems in early 2027.
