TypeSafe's Jev Sparks Decision AI Race with 193x Speedup, Faces Plagiarism Claims Over SalesRLAgent
TypeSafe's Jev model ignited the 'Decision AI' sector by claiming 193x faster inference and 445x lower cost than standard LLMs via a non-autoregressive architecture that outputs probabilities directly. This success triggered rapid adoption by Microsoft, OpenAI, and others, but also sparked plagiarism allegations from ConvAI Innovations, whose founder claims the core concept was established in the earlier open-source SalesRLAgent paper. In response, the founder released Laya, an open-weight competitor based on BERT encoder-only models supporting self-hosting.

10 月 13 日消息，科技媒体 Tom's Hardware 今天（10 月 13 日）发布博文，报道称 TypeSafe 发布 Jev 模型后引爆“决策 AI 模型”赛道，在微软、OpenAI、Cloudflare、Perplexity 等厂商加入战局同时，Jev 也面临“抄袭”风波。
IT之家援引博文介绍，TypeSafe 发布 Jev 后，AI 行业迅速出现一批同类决策模型。微软推出 Microsoft Decision，OpenAI 推出 Decisions API，Fastino 发布 Glide；Cloudflare Clef 与 Perplexity Decider 采用开放权重，用户可在自有硬件上运行。
这类模型不逐 Token 生成文本，也不维护对话历史或长上下文。它直接返回概率结果，可并行处理问题，因此速度更快、成本更低；TypeSafe 此前宣称 Jev 较标准 LLM 快 193 倍、成本低至 445 分之一。
在决策模型爆火背后，Jev 也引发了原创性争议。ConvAI Innovations 创始人 Nandakishor Mukkunnoth 称，其 2025 年 3 月 30 日发布的 SalesRLAgent 论文已提出概率估计模型，并公开模型权重与数据集。
Mukkunnoth 表示，SalesRLAgent 面向特定销售场景，因此未获得与通用决策引擎同等的关注。TypeSafe 则将 Jev 以完整托管产品发布，包含服务器、API、文档、开发者套件与定价体系。
Mukkunnoth 随后在 Jev 发布同日推出开源模型 Laya。Laya 支持 Jev 式模型与接口，可部署在用户自有硬件，并支持多种语言，其基础采用 BERT 家族的 encoder-only 模型。
