10 月 16 日消息，当地时间 10 月 15 日，Meta 发布了开放权重 AI 模型 Muse Spark Open。Meta 官方宣称这是迄今为止能力最强的美国开放权重模型。
据 The Next Web 报道，Meta 表示，Muse Spark Open 性能低于周一刚发布的前沿模型 Muse Wonder。
Meta 曾在周一宣布 Muse Wonder 已达到前沿模型水准，但并未对外公布任何基准测试成绩，该模型目前依然保持闭源。
Meta 首席 AI 官汪滔（Alexandr Wang）表示，出于安全与能力边界的双重考量，我们通常不会开源我们最顶尖的模型。不过他补充道，Meta 打算继续发布优秀的开源模型。
据悉，这是 Meta 旗下 Muse 系列 AI 模型的第二次开源。今年 8 月，Meta 以 Apache 2.0 协议发布了从 Muse Spark 蒸馏而成的 300 亿参数模型 Glimmer。
IT之家注意到，Meta 创始人五周前的言论与此截然相反。扎克伯格在 Sources 播客中表示，竞争对手训练出更先进的模型却不公开，是“极其危险”的行为（当时他并未具体点名任何企业）。
