Thinking Machines Releases Inkling 2 Small, Tops US Open Models on Code Arena
Thinking Machines released Inkling 2 Small, which scores 1654 (AutoEval) on Code Arena: WebDev, ranking #1 among US open models and 128 points ahead of Meta's Muse Spark Open. It would place #4 among open models globally and #20 overall, a 245-point jump over its predecessor Inkling Small. Priced at $0.30/1M input and $1.00/1M output tokens, it is available for fine-tuning and inference on Tinker today, with full weights planned for release soon.

Inkling 2 Small would rank #4 among open models globally, and ranks #20 overall. This is +245 pt improvement over its previous variant, Inkling Small (#32 open with 1409 pts).
